Set sail from the historic whaling capital of the world. Nantucket is a digital tabletop board game set in the 1800s where 2 players compete to build port infrastructure, launch whaling ships, and strike fortune on the high seas through worker placement and strategic coin-tossing.

⚓ Core Gameplay

Every round in Nantucket is split into two distinct phases:

1. The Harbor & Action Phase

• Captain Turn: The first player commands priority in town.
• Worker Placement: Place workers to construct new port buildings at the Town Hall, gather silver at the Warehouse, or commission new ships at the Dockyard.
• Ship Stacking: Fund your ships with Silver ($1) and Copper ($2) coins. The more coin value committed to your vessel, the deeper into whale-rich waters you can venture.

2. The Whaling Phase

• The Toss: Cast your ship's coins into the air. Physical flips determine Heads or Tails for each coin in your fleet.
• The Priority Chart: Claim catch rows based on coin faces:
  • Row A: 2 Copper Heads → Sperm Whale (1 Copper, 2 Silver)
  • Row B: 2 Silver Heads → Bowhead Whale (1 Copper)
  • Row C: 1 Copper Heads → Bowhead Whale (1 Copper)
  • Row D: 1 Silver Heads → Right Whale (1 Silver)
  • Row E: 1 Copper Tails → Right Whale (1 Silver)
  • Row F: Empty Sea (No catch)
• The Return: Pay one coin from your ship back to the supply to secure your catch.

🏆 Winning the Game

The game concludes when 9 buildings have been built across the port or the Copper coin reserve is depleted. Players score points for:

• 1 VP per Copper coin in their treasury
• 1 VP per building constructed
• Bonus Victory Points from special building cards (A/B cards)

🌐 Online Multiplayer (Windows Desktop Only)

The downloadable Windows build includes native ENet peer-to-peer networking:

1. Host Game: Enter your captain name and click Host. Automatic UPnP will configure your router port (UDP 7000) and display your public IP to share with your opponent.
2. Join Game: Enter the host's IP address and connect directly.

🎮 Controls

• Mouse Left Click / Drag: Select actions, place workers, drag coins to buildings and ship docks.
• Toss: Click to cast coins during the Whaling Phase.
• F / Fullscreen Button: Toggle fullscreen mode.
